Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-03
This is a booking platform. The studio you book with is an independent business that sets its own prices and policies and takes your payment directly through Stripe. These Terms explain who does what, how deposits and cancellations work, and where to turn if you need a refund.
1. Who you are dealing with
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this booking platform (the “Platform”). The Platform, including its software, design and content, is owned and operated by Aspera Group Inc. (“we”, “us”). The Platform is a technology service: it lets independent hair studios publish their menu, run a consultation, take bookings and collect payments.
She Heals Locs (the “Studio”) is an independent business that uses the Platform under a licence from us. The Studio is a licensee only: it is not owned, operated or controlled by us, and we are not its agent, partner or employer. Every hair service, every price, every appointment and every policy about that appointment belongs to the Studio. We do not perform, supervise or guarantee any service.
Two separate agreements apply when you book. These Terms are between you and us, and cover your use of the Platform. The Studio’s Client Agreement — including its deposit, cancellation and refund policy — is between you and the Studio, and covers the appointment itself. We are not a party to that agreement; the Platform simply presents it to you and records that you accepted it.
By continuing past the consultation, reserving an appointment, or paying a deposit or balance, you agree to these Terms and to the Studio’s Client Agreement. You will be asked to confirm both, and the Studio’s payment and refund policy, before any payment is taken. If you do not agree, please do not book.
2. Payments are made to the Studio, through Stripe
All payments on the Platform — deposits and any remaining balance paid online — are processed by Stripe, Inc. and paid directly into the Studio’s own Stripe account. The Studio is the merchant of record for every charge. The Platform never receives, holds or controls your money.
Payments are by card only (including Apple Pay and Google Pay). Your card details are entered into Stripe’s secure forms and are never seen or stored by the Platform or the Studio.
Prices shown on the Platform are set by the Studio and are all-inclusive: the price you see is the price you pay. Nothing is added at checkout. Where a service is shown as a range, the final amount within that range is confirmed by the Studio at your appointment.
3. The Studio’s deposit, cancellation and refund policy
The deposit, cancellation and refund policy is the Studio’s policy. It is set by the Studio, agreed between you and the Studio in the Client Agreement, and applied by the Studio. The Platform does not set it, cannot change it for you, and does not decide refunds.
For reference, the Studio’s policy as currently published is: a deposit of $27 reserves your appointment and is applied toward your service total; the deposit is non-refundable; at least 48 hours’ notice is required to move or cancel; you may move your appointment once and the deposit follows you, while a second change or an outright cancellation forfeits it; a 15-minute arrival grace period applies, lateness of 15–30 minutes with notice adds a $15 late fee, and lateness beyond 30 minutes or a no-show cancels the appointment and forfeits the deposit; and the deposit is refunded in full if the Studio cancels or cannot provide the service.
The Client Agreement you accept before paying is the complete and controlling version of that policy. If this summary and the Client Agreement ever differ, the Client Agreement applies.
4. Your remaining balance
The remainder of your service total is due at your appointment and is settled with the Studio directly. If the Studio offers online balance payment, you may receive a private link to pay the remainder by card after your session; the amount shown reflects the final total confirmed by the Studio, with your deposit already applied. Paying online is a convenience — the Studio may also accept payment in person.
5. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
Because the Studio is the merchant of record, any request for a refund, and any question about a charge, goes to the Studio: the contact details in your confirmation email. The Studio decides refunds under its own policy in the Client Agreement and processes them through Stripe to the card you paid with.
The Platform is not a party to the transaction between you and the Studio and cannot issue, approve or reverse a payment. If you raise a dispute with your card issuer, it is handled between you, your issuer and the Studio.
6. The consultation and AI recommendations
The consultation produces a loc profile and a recommended service. Parts of it are generated by artificial intelligence from the answers you give and the Studio’s live menu. It is guidance to help you and the Studio plan, not a diagnosis, medical advice or a promise of results. The Studio confirms the right service, and its final price within the published range, when it sees your hair in person.
The ASK assistant answers from the Studio’s own notes, menu and policies. If it cannot answer something, ask the Studio directly.
7. Your information and photos
How we collect, use and protect your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: your consultation answers, contact details and any photo you share are used to prepare for and manage your appointment and are shared with the Studio for that purpose. The Studio’s address is sent to you only after you book.
Any use of before-and-after photos or video for the Studio’s educational or promotional purposes happens only if you tick the optional consent box before paying. Declining never affects your appointment.
8. Appointment links and your responsibility
You manage your appointment through a private link emailed to you. Anyone with the link can view, move or cancel your appointment, so keep it to yourself. Links expire after 24 hours; you can request a fresh one at any time with the email or phone number you booked with.
You agree to give accurate contact details, to be the cardholder or authorised by the cardholder for any payment you make, and not to use the Platform to harass the Studio, to make bookings you do not intend to keep, or to interfere with the service.
9. What we are and are not responsible for
We provide the Platform “as is”. We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted, or that a time shown as available will remain so until your payment completes — if a slot is taken in that moment, your deposit is refunded automatically.
We are not responsible for the Studio’s services, conduct, pricing, availability, cancellations, refunds or policies, or for anything that happens at the Studio’s premises. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid to us for that use, which is nothing — the Studio, not the Platform, receives your payments. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes, law and contact
We may update these Terms. The version date appears at the top of this page and is recorded with each booking, so the Terms you accepted are the Terms that apply to that booking. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Questions about the Platform itself: asperagroup@gmail.com. Questions about your appointment, a payment or a refund: the Studio, at the contact details in your confirmation email.
